justacarguy.blogspot.com: New York's MoMA is having a car show
Pretty good company 1949 Cisitalia, XKE, 1939 Figoni et Falachi-bodied Talbot, 1937 coffin-nosed Cord, 1948 MG TC, among others.
I'm curious about that green. It seems likely it's Beryl Green blog.heritagepartscentre.com/blog/2016/09/01/vw-greens/

Did they actually come with mirror mounts on the passenger side? I know you could buy weld in fittings and later mirrors were reversible
And what's with the dual color fog lights and plastic headlight?
Looks repro not original

Pre-1967 the mirror threaded into the top of the door hinge. Don't know if you have to drill or swap the hinge to add a mirror.
Those are the fluted glass European headlight covers with yellow bulbs. In France they're big on yellow headlights. The driving light is a fog light.
Just though the windshield I spy: defroster deflectors
gimbal spot light
blind spot/vanity mirror
oval window Venetian blind
antenna mounted on the windshield glass (?)

I've got a plastic 1960s coffee pot that plugs into the cigar lighter my car doesn't have.
It's not that shiny and I don't have rally stopwatches.

On the hinge mirror mount you can just hammer drift out the hinge pin from the bottom. Replacement hinge pins to mount mirrors were a Cal look for a while, but I thought RH mirrors weren't a thing except on british bugs.

I'd forgotten. I remember rumors that you could drill out the hinges and use valve guides to have Aluminum-Silicon-Bronze bushings.

So here's the rabbit-hole I'm down today. I need help.
Besides being a rat rod with 14" of wheel travel ( ) it would have an 18-21" ring mount, electrically powered with the controls hanging inside, for a twin barrel .22 caliber rim-fire Gatling gun. Two corrugated barrels, two 50-round drums and two binary (not forced reset!) triggers. Eight rounds per crank of the wheel.
I've tested the name on people. You have to say it out loud.
I've got the wheels, a Baja bug and one receiver. That's why I need the help.

The gatling gun will be "trying" to get a hold of. What kind of help besides that?
