Blue Beetle

[delxe que destruam a si mesmos] = let them destroy themselves. Maybe it loses something in the translation.

Fusca azul is a Brazilian meme. The story behind it is that school kids would start punching each other at the sight of a blue Beetle. Pointless, but this is Brazil...

That's actually funny!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punch_buggy

Quote:
Punch buggy (also called punch bug, punch car, punch dub, piggy punch, slug bug, or beetle bug) is a car game generally played by children in which participants punch each other on the arm upon first sight of a Volkswagen Beetle while calling out "Punch buggy!" or "Slug bug!" in reference to the Beetle's nickname, the Bug. The color of the Beetle is also sometimes stated.
Wikipedia needs a edit. I used to admonish little kids that I didn't drive a Beetle so they could bully each other, so stop. Not when they're in a car going the other way of course.

Late to a VW party? Unpossible. Referencing Jason Torchinsky, in 201208:

The rabbit-hole I'm down today/again is [B]ug-out cars.

Its been a long time since I played slug-bug. As a kid, I remember one time with relatives and friends, there were 4 of us in the back of a GMC Jimmy. We drove past the local VW repair shop and we all got out with bruises on top of bruises!

If you look closely, it has the Menedeola A-arm front suspension.

Kohlruss resto. I'm curious about the vehicle in the background at 6:50. It has a Beetle cowl with the wiper above the windshield. ..and a [semi-]hardtop rear quarter (visible in the thumbnail).

Mute the sound and watch at 1.5x.

edit:
It's not a bottomless well, it's an Artesian well:

I'm three minutes in — I'd have left the Veyron with the wide-5s. Also, I disagree with his use of the selection tools, he eschews the Magic Wand.

2nd edit:
...I'm getting through it by muting, setting 1.5x and walking by once in a while to see how it's going. The result will be ill-proportioned compared to this classic:

Okay for Photoshop technique though.

3rd edit:
I give up. There is a horrible misalignment of the running board on the red Beetle. It doesn't even look like an OEM part. And they fail to correct that as they transfer onto the Veyron.

They could've colorize the Veyron rear quarters and tacked the Beetle tail lights on.
