Sometimes it happens...
But anyway, today I saw a Tiguan Allspace for the first time, and it had Uruguayan plates, but I didn't figure out if it has either the 1.4 or the 2.0 engine, even though it's a gasser. Well, quite surprisingly for me, Volkswagen is not focusing so much on Diesel in countries where it used to be more popular such as Uruguay and Argentina. BTW the Tiguan Allspace is not available here yet, as the local Volkswagen branch is attempting to clear its remaining stock of the previous-generation 1.4 TSI.

Just A Car Guy: the Volksliner, where the driver was belted into the streamliner in the prone position
Quote:
The car was repaired and made one more pass but without suspension, the ride was determined to be too rigid to control and withdrawn from competition. The car then disapeared from sight to never be seen again.

That's definitely weird. Looks more like a coffin than an actual car.

Just A Car Guy: Wouldn't you rather be there?

I didn't even see a VW here until you pointed it out.

I'd bet you still haven't noticed those rear-view mirror arms.
edit:
Almost forgot a picture. Jalopnik ran a story on the Volkswagen Saveiro:

It's got a neat little roof-top half-rack/vortex generator/grab rail.

I see at least one Saveiro per day, usually white.

WTF could be wrong with that Australian-spec Kombi? BTW I noticed it was an Australian-spec because of the higher-mounted side grilles.
