IIRC the BX floorpan used in the Gol, Voyage/Fox/Amazon/Gacel/Senda, Parati and Saveiro was actually based on the B1 Passat.

I basically went from flathead Fords (6 and 8) to Volkswagens, now it looks like Ford and VW are getting together:

Not the same taxi I posted previously. This one has the 1.0 TSI engine instead of the 1.6L naturally-aspirated.
What about the Beetle with a rear wiper and a possible water-cooled engine swap I spotted last Friday night?
