If you do use wax, I suggest NOT doing the entire boattail at once. The RTV still sticks really good, and requires some elbow grease to get it loose. I did this on my drivers door this weekend, and it worked, but I didn't wait long enough for the RTV to fully dry and had a hand covered with wet RTV. But the seal works!

Nice find euromodder. Congrats on being famous weather spotter! Wish they at least had a decent quality picture of it.
Significant to note that there is not any substantial criticism on that website, just knee jerk flaming.

Simple minded are just what they are, simple minded that is, don't be discouraged by lesser minds that bow the chrome and shiny bits without any understanding of how things really work.
For majority only thing that matters is that things look nice, their brains are not able to see anything else, that makes them easy pray, put some new shiny thing on sale and they go after that like mindless lemmings, label it as eco and they truly think that quicksilver coated lead does cure the earth.
I have great respect for those who are doing mods and testing them ignoring those noisy lesser minds.

Not my find.
It popped up in another thread on EM, so I thought I'd repost it here in WeatherSpotter's project log.

Update:
Well I filled up today at 622.1 Miles. I made my first 1000km tank ! For the tank I got 49.24 MPG. my goal was 50 MPG on my normal commute. I did not make it but I should on this next tank ( I hope). I tried a new route home from work last night that boosted my trip MPG from about 50 to 55MPG. Today it was 54.5 MPG for the trip home.
With the warmer temps (60-70 F) I can coast .75 of a mile to most stops!
