What's that called, a Junk-rigged sail?*
Impressive that at 3:06 they 'dug a trench' that appears to be a canal 10s of meters wide and kilometers long for speed runs.
edit: *
I guess not, a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_rig extends ahead of the mast.
But still, they show a lot of [J-hooked turns] but it appears to stop them. At 4:17 they edit two turns together to look like a [slalom]. [not-ical terms?]

happy Equinox!
^ A few days late, but it's an (older) appropriately EcoModder-themed Equinox this time!

Happy earliest northern sunset
If you like more daylight at the END of your days, today's the day things turn around! (In the north.)
I was surprised to learn a few years ago that the latest sunrise and the earliest sunset don't land on the solstice. (Vicey versey for summer solstice.)
Look up "equation of time". Prepare for mind = blown!

freebeard tryin' to make Google not evil again...
I'm looking forward to longer days. I had bought a Segway not long ago and find a lot of joy going for a cruise in the hood (population 10,000) after work. Not safe when it's dark out. I'd also like to start running, and light is also good for that activity.

No, it's the Ninebot Mini Pro. Ninebot is the Chinese company that bought Segway. Got it for ~$300 when it went on sale at Newegg.
15 mile range, 10 MPH top speed. I'm looking into how to increase speed. There's a microprocessor swap for $35 that gives it 3 more MPH plus some other functionality, but I'd screw that solder job up for sure. Supposedly someone has hacked it to be software upgradable, but they don't want to release it since they don't know how to monetize the hack yet.
Bigger tires can add about 2 MPH.
I'm the biggest dork Segwaying to Safeway and grocery shopping on it. People ask me about it all the time, and I simply let them take it for a test ride.
The thing is so entertaining that I sometimes just stand on it while I work at my standing desk, or fold and put away clothes while on it.

redpoint5 -- One does what one can.
I presume it's called the Ninebot Mini Pro because Legway has already been taken:
https://www.instructables.com/id/Ste...egway-Legway-/
But it would be hard to make one for $300. The miracle of industrial scale.

Preach, fellow dork! I get the same curious reaction to my semi-recumbent bike! I also just tell people to try it. It's a unique & fun experience - very different than a regular bike.
Not sure what experience you would compare riding your Ninebot against.
