Holy.... solstice. That is one heck of a holiday light display. Does he rig that up himself, or does he get a professional group to come in?

High of 66 here today. Last night it didn't get below 45 or 50. This is after several weeks of below freezing temperatures day and night. We had 6" of snow in the yard yesterday morning; today we only have piles where we shoveled. Very weird.

Ice storm here! I just heard what sounded like a big tree coming down. Won't be surprised if the power goes out...

Old TeleMan and wdb, that song was one of five or six. The entire show was almost 20 minutes long. Other songs were more Christmassy.
The guy has a sign in his front yard listing a radio station to tune into. You drive up in your car, turn on your radio, and set it to whatever volume you want. It's like the old drive-in movies! (His FM transmitter has about a 1/2 mile radius!)
I thought it was a neat idea, because everyone has their windows rolled up and heaters blasting. Just standing on the sidewalk, there's no music at all. I bet the neighbors appreciate that!
Here's a little more info on that light show.

Ice storms scare the poo out of me. I was in one several years ago and thank God I had a wood stove, power was out for four days with temps in the teens.
The house were in now doesn't have one so every time I see the signs of a ice storm I panic.
I went out yesterday and drove around in the snow to get my driving skills back up where they need to be. It was a blast, but now I'm looking forward to the days getting longer.

Now THAT gains LOTS of "atta-bouys" from me. Me and boom-boxes don't get along well.
