You would not believe how many of them fall for this - just like in REAL life!
This is a fine game! I L-O-V-E abandoning women...
- If there isn't anybody around, I'll move into the lane to the left of me - roll my passenger window all the way down - and let them pass me on the right, if they got the nads! Don't roll your window down until the tailgater can see it happening.
Many times, these ppl are cowards, and think you're gonna cap 'em, give them the finger, yell at 'em, etc - all of which is a possibility, if I'm in a whimsical mood. My call, not theirs...
A variation of this is... once you move over, DO NOT let them pass you. I've done this all the way to 150 MPH at times.
- Another great one is to pretend you're drunk! Drift over the line - hit your brakes and correct - slow down - go over the other line - correct again - speed up - slump over the steering wheel - then fall on the center console.
I suppose it goes without saying, but don't do this if you're actually drunk or even have a little beer on your breath!!!
DO NOT DO ANY OF THE ABOVE WITH SEMI TRUCKS UNLESS YOU'RE SUICIDAL!!!
Hrm...
Well, those are the tactics I use the most. If I can think of more, I'll let you know...

oh bad call to pretend you are drunk. i love to call 911 on drunks AND people who aren't drunk but driving like a jackass. The amber alert sign says to call 911 for drunk drivers. i give plate car color, everything. if i ruin someones night great. he probably had a warrant anyway.

Just to clarify, what I consider a brake check might be different from someone else. I don't slam on the brakes full tilt, just a quick stab and let off. Enough to convey indignation but not much more.

They weren't racing me. Nobody is. Be the proactive safe driver out there. Let them go. Would you rather they pass you as quick as you can easily help, like pulling right if you can, than forcing them into a riskier passing situation. NIGGYSOB shouldn't be played in cars. Pretty well all automobile accidents are somehow preventable.

I don't know the person's exact case but most times the child would have seen medical help quicker by calling an ambulance.

My brother broke his arm, and the ambulance would have taken 20 mins to get to him, then need to drive another 20 mins to the hospital, so my Mom just drove him to the hospital herself with the hazards on.

I know what you mean. I work at an ER here and they come in with an upset stomach and a cup of McD's Coke in their hand.
Back to topic, I had a little bit of tailgating going on today. When the road turned to a 2 lane she passed me. I kinda might have stared her down as she passed me. Then she sped up more. Next red light she was stopped where I coasted up to it as it turned green, then passed here. I mockingly chuckled as I passed her. And what do you know, she got mad that I did that and sped up a lot to pass me. O well, I know who came out ahead in FE.

You bet it would piss me off if someone was tailgatting me on my motorcycle but that just does not happen to me unless there is too much traffic ahead and no place for me to go.

I am often quite shocked that this works:
when I get tailgated on my cycle. I just make a "back off" waving my left hand in a push back paddling motion. I get very good response and they will back away until one of us can find a way to let the other around.

Where to get "research" sticker?
So, if one wanted one of those stickers that says:
Research vehicle, please pass
Where would one get one??
Or, anybody know of a place to get bumper sticker material for an ink jet printer??
Thanks,
troy
