Interested in being a contributor for EcoModder's Facebook page?

We really need to set up "facebook.com/EcoModder", but apparently you can only do this if you're an admin AND you have a mobile phone (to receive a confirmation message). So I have to get Ben or Tim to do it.

I love hashtags! They go great with bacon and eggs. (That's what we're talking about, right?)

Also, FYI for those FB contributors watching the "Insights" section, the reason "reach" went off the charts this week is because Ben went and bought $20 worth of page promotion.

Kind of wrecked our "organic" experiment!

We'll see where it levels off after a while.

I'm interested to know if buying Facebook traffic increased traffic to the EcoModder website? Do you have any stats on how many people skip over to EcoModder.com from the Facebook page?

It gives that option 2-3x a week to "enhance demographics" I back out of it after I see the results for posts.
I have touched the posts as required to stimulate.
Could highlight on top performance member rides, and newer member upgrade recent results possibly.
Facebook is a challenge due to it is more a pass cool or interesting on to other friends thing.
Its not like here where this is searchable from every web browser in the world.
Then Facebook likes will also drop as they become active members on this site.
Please correct me if my thinking is flawed and post Ideas if you want something in particular on that page for viewer interest.
How bout the last Lemmons race or challenge events???
Like I said F/B friends are not so simply had.

Yup. According to Analytics:

185 visits from FB in the last 2 weeks

129 visits in the first 2 weeks of the month (before we started messing around with FB):

144 visits in the first 2 weeks of last month

I think the best things for FB posts are projects/topics like the ones Tim and I choose for this site's home page.

Has anyone else seemed to notice more people joining? It could be my imagination, but it seems like we have more new members starting intro threads.

Could we have some new stats on the (maybe imagined) results?

I have also noticed an influx of new members, but I can't say if it's more than usual. Some hard evidence would be nice to see what's going on. The avg. gallon price vs. new members graph would be nice to see for the last couple months since the FB page was renewed.
