I bought a stencil set at Dollar General, brand is "ArtSkills". No idea after that.

I'm going to try to get some reactions on the trip. It will keep me entertained and awake.

Profile pic will change soon.

On the pics, the well stencils don't come across really errrr.... well .

If it's that way IRL as well, maybe switch to an oil drum per saved barrel of fuel ?

I think that would make things clearer for people seeing your car, too.

I too think the oil well is a bit hard to read. Maybe a more simplistic side view would suit it better. After all people will probably be passing you 10-15mph faster.

Interesting Invasion Stripes- or should we call them wasp stripes!

I tired white paint on the pumps today for the shadows and that made it worse. Not sure where I'm going to go with that. I like the simpler pump pic. I'll cut it out tonight and recover it tomorrow. I'm thinking of making the stripes checker board, might not get to that until the first stop.

Those Mini trucks are legal in Mo just keep it off State highways, the same as a regular ATV or golf cart. I drove one a couple of years ago. Just a bit bigger than a big ATV. With locking differentials it was a billy goat crossing creeks on street tires with 4 wheel chains. and did OK on the blacktops. The owner, a neighbor said that he was looking for one with a dump bed and would have his for sale. As far as I know he still drives the same one. They are made by most all Japanese manufacturers. Most all are white but are great for hunting season as they have heaters, radios and bed for your deer carcass.

I got started adding some decals and other things to the car today:

sister loves drawing so i recruited her to draw a template:

while she did that I played around with some magnetic material I had:

I was thinking I could use the magnet roll as the white and paint some black to make D-Day stripes on the car that are removable. If I could get some big stickers or wrap I would make a strip go right over the transition from car to tail to smooth it out and seal it up

Front end how it was:

I did use the template but it got dark before I could get some good pics. I think I might just wait till after our meet to post them, why ruin the surprise for our meet ?
