When I saw the '57 Chevy I wanted one with ring sights on the twin hood ornaments.

When I learned about holograms I wanted projector taillights that throw a stream of red bubbles, faster as the car went faster, so it would leave them hanging in the air. Turns out holograms don't work that way.

NICE, Jethro! Love it. I'll have to put an "MPG Militia" stencil on my boat tail!

Jethro -- I would if I could if they lit up from the inside. Maybe, as an alternative to tuft or smoke testing.

I think that you should define the typeface, size and leading. Branding is important.

Couple more pics...

I couldn't find any paint that wasn't excessive, so I used tape on the tail and black on the wells. I didn't have any white for the shadows on the wells, so I'll do that( and get a non-sun washed shot) tomorrow.

Time to change the Profile pic.

What's the typeface? We can scale the numbers off the picture.

I can' wait to see this thing run. Totally cool look to take out on the road. You should have some great moments with folks at rest stops and at the fuel stops you might make, if you make any. I bet people on the road will be yelling questions, certainly taking pictures. I hope you'll record some reactions with your camera.

That would be sweet. Put them all together, then at the end, show the car to show what they're reacting to. Ha! That would be great.

Love the D-day stripes! Can't wait 'till that thing rolls up in front of my house on Monday. That's it, I'm callin' the newspaper.
