I about fell over when you rolled in my driveway with the teeth! Tell your sister she did a good job!
For the invasion stripes, get some black and white strips of vinyl from a shop that does automotive body wraps. They'll even cut it to width for you, I bet.

I see you guys have been busy !
Glad you guys seemed to like the military theme .
I have been on vacation in Toronto the last couple of weeks.
Lots of Volts and even a few Leafs.
I also saw a Fisker Karma as well in the arts district.
I had expected it to be too cold for electric cars to be sold there.
Lots of Lamborghinis and Ferraris as well.
Back on topic : Jethro, I honestly thought the stencils looked like penguins at first.
One of the reasons I went with an oil well is that even from a distance it is recognizeable .
Oil barrels are clever , but from more than a couple of feet away look like rectangles.
Primer is so cool because to fix the stencils would take all of twenty minutes.
I wouldn't have made a criticism if you had tediously hand painted them.
WeatherSpotter, teeth really give your car bite !
Looking good !

An image like this one reads well from a distance :
At first I thought I thought of an oil well with a tower versus a derrick , but from a distance it resembles a phone line tower and the message is lost.
Looking forward to more images guys !

I just saw the tuft test of the FrankenJetta and noticed the revised stencils .
I think they look fine.
The car look great now. I especially like the front end mods ( the symetrical holes for cooling for example )
Looks like I missed a lot of good stuff !

I got the stripes today, they are not on yet but will be soon
I was at a custom sign place/ car wrap/ anything with a logo on it. mom and pop place the older owner (late 50s early 60s) was very interested in my car. though I should apply for a grant. he took several pics and sold me the vinyl at a reasonable price.
I am smoothing out the part of the tail that will get the wrap then I get the "fun" job of applying the wrap with out bubbles or wrinkles. it will take a while. if we come up with an oil well sticker idea I could see how much it would cost to get some made up (green?) I might be able to get some other stickers made up as well.
I am thinking that I might have some left over white vinyl, I might cut out some teeth and use them instead of the paint job. Ideas?

Spotter, why not just print out the image I posted above and use an x-acto blade to make a stencil ?

I could, but I like the crisp look of a sticker, my stencil jobs tend to drip and look bad.
I might though, we will see once the stripes are on. Now I just need a logo for the center of the stripes (like the USAF logo in WW2) not sure what I want to use yet... Ideas?
oil well with a red line through it?
big EM logo?
MPG Militia?
(your idea here)

I don't know about you guys, but I like the sound of MPG Squadron better. Sounds more focused, organized, serious, and even fun. I understand the idea behind militia, ordinary people taking up arms.
Maybe part of the reason it sounds nicer to me, is it sounds like Rouge Squadron, or Wraith Squadron. Star Wars fan here! Lol.

may be half as wide.
Also, maybe a small strip off the front tire well?
THere are covettes and I think 3 series bmw that have a small racing stipe that is just on the fender.
