one suggestion I would have about the rear window.

find a roof section at a junk yard. say rear edge of t-tops back and add the top and sides to the oem part. and have the glass close almost at the rear edge of trunk

think...

you would also get more headroom for rear passengers

ive also heard of people using a fiero front bumper on camaros with flushed in headlights.

Both.
Its not much of a problem now since it only rains about 4 time a year.
In eastern virginia it would rain 4 times a week.

I am pretty sure the back hatch is leaking where the hatch hinge bolts meet the sheet metal, because I already replaced the hatch seal and sealed it with 3M seal sealer and it had no effect.

For me the rear seats have been removed, one seat is being used for my LiFePO4 battery relocation and the other may become a water/methanol tank.

Here is something you can use.
In the pic I placed a paint can on the tail light plastic to the trunk seal.
The paint can lifted the back glass about 7''.

Cool! IF you get a chance take a look at far out the bottom corners of the glass stick out into the wind on either side, when it is lifted like that.

If the sides clear that's going to look nice. I hadn't expected it to look that good.

If they don't, imagine the glass cut off to parallel the body line. That would let me build a nice gutter for water and narrow it up at the same time. I could build plug sides that sit in the factory gaskets, do them gloss black, little sealing welt at the fender edge.

Somebody throw a template on that. The back edge of the spoiler looks a little high to my eye. I would do some careful mpg testing of the mockup to make sure you don't end up with something worse than stock, before doing permanent bodywork.

Thanks sven. Cocyclist, that last little bit you see above the template as shown above simply unbolts from the glass. Looks like oil pan 4 hit a home run with the first swing of the bat
