I am good with that. I just thought that the newer firmware had added the tank AVG to the regular menu.

Have you noticed a new pattern yet?
"Today" had reset when I moved the car last night. It had been parked for about 16-18 hours. I'll be using it again today and will check before I fire it up.

Mine did reset between Friday evening and Saturday night (~24 hours). So somewhere above 14 hours and below 24, like the 18 you observed.
It's a minor complaint, one that can be resolved by writing down every trip segment. I would sometimes combine multiple errand segments into one "trip" using the Today gauge, but I can get over that. I'd rather have the accuracy on every trip than this minor thing.

Well, I'll check mine again today (I used the car yesterday afternoon, so it should have already reset). And I'll let LL know what we (you) found.

cleanmpg member Edwin has reported the same thing on his. Unsure which revision, but it predates this fix by months.

I just picked up an older SG used on this site. I want to update the unit to the latest software but am also thinking about getting this EM update as well. So if I send in the SG and and ask for the EM update, will I also get the latest version of the software or will it be a 2 different services?

I'd probably expect to pay for a regular update in that case. But it can't hurt to email them and ask. They're good about responding.

I'm pretty sure its just a single firmware update. I'd just ask for the EM one.
