Used to run one of those. Amazing car. And at 200,000 kms, it's just broken in.
Check the interior, though... those dashboards crack like crazy.

You have mistaken me for someone that lives somewhere that gets a lot of sunlight lol! I have seen ruined interiors in otherwise mint cars that have come from California, Arizona etc. But here on the Wet Coast, all the cloud cover protects the dashboard and seats from cracking. There is a weird little environmental bubble in this part of the world that seems to protect things from rust, fading, cracking, etc. Too bad I am so far away from everywhere else that I can't find good homes for all the little eco rides I save!

The 2.5L CRDi is currently used in Brazil too, due to updated emission standards.
But look at what I saw this Friday, a '62 Lambrecar, Brazilian version of the Italian Lambro, fitted with a 150cc 2-stroke gasser.
Its owner, who uses the trike to sell popcorn, says he bought it at a junkyard where it was going to be crushed, in '79. Well, it would be quite dumb to crush such thing in those times of oil crisis

We're just now getting brand new Piaggios in that format. 400cc naturally aspirated diesels, over 40 km/l, but aero and gearing could be better (not highway capable)

I've already considered to privately-import a Piaggio Ape, but since they can't get the Diesel engine back here in the Republic of Bananas I'd have to keep with a 2-stroke gasser. Well, at least the 2-stroke gasser (a litthe over 200cc) is not so hard to tune and make road-capable

There's two options I can think of with that XFi. 1. the guy at the used lot googled XFi and figured that he should try to get a lot of money for it. 2. Most small dealerships that buy trade ins from bigger franchise dealerships buy packages. As in, the big dealership has 5 trade ins they want to get rid of, and the guy at the smaller dealership has to buy all 5 to get the 2 he really wants. If you are lucky, that XFi is a part of a package deal, and the price is pretty much just an uninformed guess on behalf of the seller. It's not a lost cause yet lol

I thought there was a Geo Metro approaching us. But it sounded very odd, and the white car had a partly-black hood?
Then I read the side of it....
