What 'bout a Beetle turned into a coupé-utility?

At least it weights less than a Rabbit

Primitivling Ridgeline? I googled the German word for "redneck", and that was the closest thing I could find. Hopefully someone will correct me with a better answer!

Not my picture; but I did take this one:

I don't know what it is, but the ancient Romans had a word for 'hillbilly'.

If you wanna see German rednecks in the flesh, Die Ludolfs may be the place to start.
4 brothers who inherited their parents breaking yard and car parts store, neatly categorized in the 'pile' system, in which only one of them can blindly find everything.
A weekly treat on Discovery channel.

That red Beetle was modded with a fiberglass kit which was available in Brazil during the 80s. There was also a van conversion kit, which turned the Beetle into something similar to a Transit Connect.

BTW spotted this Hyundai H100 (which was once available in Mexico as Dodge H100 and assembled in Brazil from Korean CKD kits to be imported tax-free into Mexico) with the old D4BB 2.6L IDI naturally-aspirated Diesel rated at 79hp/130lb.ft. backed by a 5-speed manual transmission.

How's about this for a rare sight, My Lupo 3L & a Mk1 Insight in matching colours. I have been offered this one owner from new insight (with a nearly new OEM battery pack) as the owner is looking to buy a BMW i3 in the next few weeks.
