I think I forgot to mention b- on controller goes to b- on battery pack and also to motor-. Did you do that? And then b+ on controller to b+ on battery pack and motor+ on controller (all 3) to motor + on motor.

yes
Three motor +ve to my reversing contactor

Battery minus to the motor and the controller
Battery +ve to the controller

Yes - I was worried that I had done it wrong so I put it back in to check it
just now

The check confirmed the same problem

Can I check the parameters using the serial port??
Or using the PiCkit??

No you just need the hex file. I'm at the store, but will check the code for my boo boo as soon as I get home.

Yes, you can check with the serial port. Type

config

That should show the current settings.

Hi Paul
RTD - config did not work

I went back to the PiCkit
This time I imported your file -
Hex file loaded successfully - great - I thought I was finished
Then I hit the "Connect" button
All sorts of things started happening

I think I had only put the new hex file into the PiCkit

Now I may have put it into the controller

Back to shed - to put it back in the car

I'm trying to program at the moment, but my wife has a very thorough story at the same time (as I type). I hope she doesn't read this. haha. So, I won't be able to concentrate until the story is over.

edit: story done! Let the debugging begin!

edit2: story starting again.

"Can you take out all the garbage." yes. OK now I'm ready to start.

I have only a couple of questions, the WHAT is connected to the What" mosfet, MLCC OH BOooy, seriously I admire anybody that understands all of this. I cAN only assume that I would electrocute myself and or start an electrical fire if I tried to duplicate any of this technology. But seriously guys/girls, WOW I feel so uninformed and uneducated in the field of electronics--Good Work!!!
