It will still let you get the height of the engine correct while the suspension is loaded, so the axles are straight. :P

I"m gonna check at the post office and see if they'll fit in any of the flat rate boxes. If they do, that'll rawk.

What to people recommend for height of the engine from the ground?

Shouldn't be any lower than the lowest point of the cross member.

Have you tried to fit your hood on in the current configuration to see where it hits?

Yep. It hits in the same place it hits for people with K swaps If it's not much hit after I lower it down a little I'm sure I may be able to get clearance by grinding off a little of the support beam
