Seems like some of you don't understand that I modified my vehicle to be more economical...hence the ECOmodder...if it's a website about efficiency modifications only then you should clearly state that.

Welcome to EcoModder.com, an automotive community where performance is judged by fuel economy rather than power and speed. EcoModders employ a combination of vehicle mods, driving techniques, and common sense to squeeze every penny out of the pumps. Reasons for becoming a member range from the economical to the ecological.
Gee, looks like my mpg's are correct for my application. There are several other members on this site calculating their mpg the same way as me. I did not invent the way I am calculating my mpg. Others have done it as well and it is an accepted practice elsewhere.

What about electrics? They pay for no gasoline so they should get infinite mpg's too. Right?

I can prove your logs are not straightforward but I don't need to. Everybody already knows it.

Reminds me of Palmear's 100mpg "e" Mustang.

Hey I get 300 miles for each gallon of alcohol.

We don't need to count the gasoline, right?

This modification has made my vehicle extremely efficient and economical!!

So can I! With my 4 liter Mustang. Since the gasoline I buy at Safeway is up to 10% ethanol, I often exceed 300 MPG (of ethanol).

Removing honest fuel logs that are no longer up to date is a step too far to me.
Not everyone drives all there vehicles all of the time.
Others fill up very infrequently, so what's up-to-date and what isn't ?
Some vehicles are sold or written off, that's no reason to wipe away a member's time & effort to improve MPG and keep a fuel record while they were using that vehicle.
And not everyone keeps their fuel logs updated.

As an example, would you want to remove Jim / 3-wheeler's fuel log, as it hasn't been updated since 2010-11-16 ???

The one-time mpg spikes could be gotten rid of by calculating the lifetime avg without the single best and single worst tanks. That's how scores are calculated in certain sports - discard the highest and lowest score from the jury and average the rest. If we were to discard the best and worst tanks from the lifetime average, then that may persuade more members to enter all of their tanks - there have been many discussions about how members don't enter their worst tanks because they feel that "it wasn't normal driving".

Wrong. You need to calculate mpg for the gasoline, like I have done for diesel.

I could add one drop of WVO per tankful and say that I am getting 40,000 MPG.

You have it backwards....

I don't disagree with your goals & opinion about calculating your fossil fuel use.

But because the rest of the garage users are reporting total fuel burned, and not just one component of their fuel mix (and expecting everyone to be doing the same thing), it's confusing at best & misleading at worst.

So as suggested, I'll make a change to the garage so your vehicle doesn't appear in the rankings.

come on people, this arguing is just plain stupid!

Everything you pour into tank/into batteries, should be counted for mpg, period. To be more exact, electric cars watt-hours are made gasoline equivalent, same should be done with other fuels (biodiesel, alcohol, whiskey, applejuice, snakeoil...whatever makes your car move)
So, if you use diesel and biodiesel, add up both of them. If you use gasoline to start natural gas car, add both of them.
