Old mech,
I will miss the cleverness in you brief and succinct comments. You were truly a gentleman and an asset to this community.
Be well Sir!

Will miss you Ole Mech... appreciated all the Civic specific advice (and more) over time. This is why I stay out of the Lounge almost entirely and never discuss politics here. Take care of yourself.

Sorry to see Old Mech leave. We had some spirited discussions about my project, but all good natured on my part and his. I understand his decision and wish him well.

Whew, I thought it might have been something I said.
I didn't even know we have a Mirage forum.

I actually still quite don't understand this decision, even though I suppose on some level I do. It's still a bit of a shock, a shame, and a loss. I have beer really participated in the Mirage side of things so I have no idea what went down there. But I wish you the best even if you never read this. It still hurts a little bit to not have you here.

Best of luck, OM. I reckon the admins will keep the light on for you, if you ever change your mind.

Anyway I wish him the best.

I understand what he feels. So often I read a post and see the politics in it and feel the need to respond. Sometimes without being able to hear the tone of someone's comments on the internet, dialog back and forth seems nastier then it otherwise might be in real life. Or maybe some people are nasty. Either way it can give you grief you don't need. The problem is once you have been around 1/2 a century or more you can see the politics in everything a mile away. Just coming off this especially nasty last year of it makes you want to just be done with it.
