I don't recall a travel ban in 032019, but I do recall one earlier when I got home to PDX and was met with green and blue-haired people upset about a temporary ban of travel from terrorist countries. Some folk like horror and terror apparently, and that's somehow associated with hair color.

Of course, avoiding a tragedy, or missing out on a huge opportunity is always lost in the calculation.

That's what I've been saying indirectly, that change doesn't imply either good or bad, and that someone saying x will be worse for humanity needs to be tempered by someone saying y will be better. Anyone representing only good or bad aspects of a change while soliciting for power should not be trusted, and be given no authority whatsoever, not even shift manager at McDonalds.

Scott asks "has anyone ever heard this..." regarding warmer colds, and we've been talking about it here for a decade.

Should we assemble the committee to determine reparations for the victims of climate catastrophism now, or is it too soon?
