Should we assemble the committee to determine reparations for the victims of climate catastrophism now, or is it too soon? Maybe hold off for 200 years and then determine the millions per individual using a compounding interest framework? I'm willing to settle for $10k now, while it's a bargain. First, best, and final offer.

Helping the "Global South" has been a (good) part of the plan for years. But the "Global North" isn't going to do that. The "Global North" is busy grinding what's left of Earth's ecosystems down via industrialism and the war machine, which are intertwined. It's amazing how utterly stupid humanity is. |

No, his sarcasm was easy to smell. I kind of wonder if you guys ever post serious comments.
Regarding reparations: Black people have been owed reparations for centuries.

Reparation and repatriation have the same letters, so it's kind of a nice pairing, but that's just me speaking about the words.

Curiously, I have.
Governments throw billions of dollars around to no effect. If each self-selected recipient was given a grub-stake, the money would be shepherded past all the corruption, benefiting both the individual and both countries.
In the vernacular, "Cash Me Ousside / Howbow Dah".
Also, two t's and two i's.

Further to the point; if one's forebears declined the free boat ride to Liberia (you should see how that turned out*), the whole thing is a grift.
Self-selection cuts through a lot of complexity.
