Of course it's too low resolution, but it conveys that he's on the left without going into detail. In the latest Rogan podcast (still listening) Eric describes himself as "very progressive".

I really like Rogan, but more due to his format and less to do with him as a host. He's a dumb guy as far as hosts go (he's probably average IQ), but that's helpful to an audience because he asks the dumb questions (no such thing as a dumb question except the one not asked).
Rogan has an ape-like reaction similar to the public at large to things as evidenced by his comments on the Floyd incident. Eric tries to go into nuance, and Rogan sticks to his low res instincts for the most part, though I admire his openness to due process. |

It was interesting to watch Colbert interview Bolton last night. Stephen tried to ask hard questions and John was ready for him.
I just wish that Colbert had asked follow-up questions.
It seems that the simplest explanation for Bolton waiting until now to release his story was personal gain, but he genuinely seemed to be a conservative republican who wants a conservative republican in the White House.
He said that his testimony would not have affected impeachment (democrats lost by 19-20 votes), but it should help with the election.
They agreed that the democrats rushed to finish the proceedings before the nomination.

Trump is a RINO, so it's no wonder a Republican might decide to stick to traditional Republican values at the expense of those merely borrowing the title.
Some people are pragmatic, and others are principled.
*I know almost nothing about Bolton since I don't follow news. Something about a book, something about unfit for office.
Thing is, if I know of a candidate, they are unfit for office. |
