Black rifles are the SUVs of guns. They may look cool, and people who don't think about what they're trying to accomplish may flock to them, but they absolutely suck at their intended purpose. Having one says more about your lack of understanding than anything else. If that's a political position for you, then you have my condolences.
No one cared about black rifles until the government decided we should be allowed to have them. Prior to 1993 your main semi autos were WW2 surplus, mini14 and you would occasionally see some ussr block nation SKS rifles sincethey were only around $80 at one point. Until 1993 I don't think there were ever more than 2 or 3 AR15/M16 manufacturers at any given time and i believe only 1 sold on the civilian market. Now there's fifty something last time I checked.
Almost everyone in the military had shot the M16 since 1963, so at least a million service members were as unimpressed as I was by the m16.
Accuracy was decent and they ran $800 and up in the early 1990s (that's $1,577, adjusted for inflation in 1990 dollars). A mini14 was less than half that so the AR15 priced its self out of the market. The only civilians really buying them were national match shooters with deep pockets.
And now they are absolutely everywhere, Thank you anti gun ignoramuses.

When I was in high school each of we three brothers had a British Lee-Enfield woodworked into a sporting stock.

When I was in The 'Nam, I was designated platoon grenadier so I had a 1911 and an M-79 grenade launcher I carried with a buckshot round chambered.

Rock salt is non-lethal so I think it would be funny to reload 410 shells with Pink Himalayan Rock Salt rocks.

Nobody cares about Romanian musicians? Here's Andrei Cerbu when he was ten or eleven:

They're fine machines, but you should judge a machine by its effects, so the round makes the weapon- and 5.56 FTL. And the shorter the barrel (I'm looking at you, M-4), the greater the loss. The Black Rifles Matter crowd sees them more as a fashion accessory or, yes, a political statement than an actual tool. Kind of like most SUV drivers.

Another good reason for me to not embrace both BLM and the "cancel culture". I'm sure some left-leaning folks might say I am being "selfish" or "unsensitive", but I do care more about a guy who is trying to work honestly than for a bunch of thugs that look for trouble their entire life until they're finally met with some deadly force.

Quote:
Police were told that occupants of the consulate building were being evicted from the property at 4 p.m. Friday, the official said. Calls to the Chinese Embassy in Houston, as well as the U.S. Department of State, were not immediately returned by press time.

It’s unclear whether the burning paper was related to the reported eviction.

If you play a stupid game, you get stupid prizes. My advice is to not play stupid games, and for those that insist, put their feet to the fire.

I'm a member of the "Don't Kill Puppies" movement, which has a very specific platform related to liberty, integrity, and honesty. Anyone not agreeing with that platform is a puppyist.

I try each day to expose myself to things I don't understand, if only to test the elasticity of my Overton Window. One example is Suspicious 0bservers. Today he pointed to this:

public.nrao.edu/news/image-galaxy-magnetic-field/#PRimageSelected

This is the electromagnetic field that connects another galaxy to the Plasma Universe. This falsifies Dark Matter.

At 3:16 we learn that the Sloan Sky Survey is completed. Everything else is obscured by the Milky Way.

No, it's perfectly reasonable. Every diplomatic or military facility has secrets that should be destroyed under these circumstances. Pick any two countries you want, however friendly- if one of them closes a consulate for any reason at all, things are going to get burned.
