But when you consider % over EPA, your last and your first are equal. Given your description of the qualifications, why not change the team name to "Heavy Modded" or "Heavily Modded"? Maybe? I wonder if my car qualifies: tire spats, alt delete, grill block, mirror delete, airdam, antenna shave, and side skirts (and sometime soonish: reinstall rear wheel skirts and create rear box cavity with diffuser and small trunk-lid spoiler). And those are just the aero mods. I also run radical weight reduction, an alt delete & plug in, lighter/thinner 13" wheels, and an injector kill switch (eventually lighter braking components and a VX final drive too).

Is that heavily modded enough??

I was tossing around ideas, and came up with boat tails an more. All are welcome to join if you think you have a well modded car you can join us. I leave "enough" mods up to you.

Nice! I remember dreaming of the day when "I can drive 55". Funny how perspective changes when you know what's really possible.

Well, the last tank was Lean Burn as much as possible, approximately half of my driving was LB. In spite of a drastic drop in temps, I got 46.6mpg (vs ~47mpg before). I think I'll stick with it, at least on the highway.

I am getting so I can keep it from dropping out of Lean Burn even while shifting.

We haven't yet. I started on it, but the task keeps getting bumped by more fun and/or paying activities. That said, I had planned to get back at it this coming week.

---

FYI, I'll probably fill the U.F.O. one last time this year, either late this month or sometime in November. This tank is currently sitting at 97.x MPG (US), says the factory gauge (it has been close more often than not).
