Just added my first four fillups with my new Insight to the garage. My main goal was to get to Michigan and back on less than one tank (10.6 gallons) and I did it!

888 miles, 10.514 gallons, 84.46 mpg

It's funny how if we switched to % over EPA, the Insights (except for 3-wheeler's) would be hurting the percentage while most of the Civics would be helping. It's kind of a flip-flop from doing it based on mpg. Oh well, it's all for fun anyways.

Sorry folks. I just dropped Honda's average by 0.2 mpg (from 59.15 to 58.95). School dropoff, cooler weather, breaking in new tires.

I know I was pulling down our average over thes past few tanks with the testing of my new lean burn engine. I think I have it sorted out now, and expect to be in the 60's soon. MPGuino and my currnet tank level are indicating 58-59 mpg thus far with alot of room for imporvement!

Why is there a boat tail team? Should we open one for, Kamm back team? Grill block team? Belly pan team? Side mirror delete team, All of the above team?

Yes I know the boat tail is one of the best mods you can go and gives great results, but in the end, its still a mod.

The team is designed for cars who have been modded a lot. Boat tails are just one mod , but the idea is to see what a team of the more extreme modders can do . Our newest member is pulling down the average with his 36 mpg average but our % over EPA is about 120
