However, the newer Nissan leaf looks almost like a normal car, while the $60+k model S, looks like a 1980s $6500 car with a $75 15" touchscreen monitor in it.
Hate the interior and exterior. And now the newer model 3 is a lot smaller than even the Nissan Versa.
What "1980's $6500" car would that be? The Model S has a 17" inch screen.

The Model 3 is MUCH larger than a Nissan Versa. The Leaf is bigger than the Versa.

The Model S is the looker of the lineup. When I actually look at it, it's a little boring but they have repeatedly grabbed my attention from the corner of my eye, so somebody there is a decently good stylist.

The model 3 looks weird without the grille. I know, I know, it doesn't need to be there, aerodynamics, yes, yes. Cut an anachronistic guy some slack

The screen thing isn't my flavor either. Yeah the rest of the interior is beautifully uncluttered, but actually using a touchscreen in a car isn't very intuitive.

I gotta think a used Model S is a decent deal for a pleasant car, though.

The Model 3 needs a vinyl sharkmouth.

Actually a salvage tesla is a smoking deal depending on the accident. There was one that somebody tried to go up a tapered concrete K-wall that went for 2 grand. Motor and front lower control arms were toast as were the airbags, rest of car was immaculate.

That's on my queue tomorrow. Should be exactly long enough to get me to my delivery in the morning.

LOL at literally all of this. You haven't seen a Model 3 in person, have you? The thing is 10" longer and 6" wider than a Versa; it has a huge amount of space inside, and a cavernous trunk (and a frunk).

Yeah, sure, the Model S looks like something cheap from the 1980s--if that cheap car has all-aluminum construction, a revolutionary powertrain design, LED lighting, and a drag coefficient of .23. Point me in the direction of that beater, because I will buy it for $6500 in a heartbeat.

1.25x is your friend.

Aston Martin and Lexus produce vehicles that hold up next to a Tesla.
