Took out the ford engine reliability issue as I generalised VW TSI engine problems to also 1.0 liter ford ecoboost engine. i did not found any data of broken engines with quick search. So sorry about that.

Today found out what is my Lupos Cd value

Cd 0.221 and Crr 0.0079 So I was able to reach same drag coffefficient as MB CLA blue efficiency model which has needed numerous hours in CFD, wind tunnel and big bugs. So I reached best production car Cd up to date with internet, books and tuft testing and virtually zero budget. I wonder what those figures would have been if I would have put all my coming innovations to this car?

It's very impressive that you achieved 0.22 with simply books. honestly consider what oem's could do with cfd and wind tunnels, with no regulations or sales aspirations. Don't be silly and naive.

Sales aspirations - actual or imagined - are probably the most important objections to be overcome in the boardrooms.
However ...
Nobody in the know gave the revived low-cost car manufacturer Dacia much credit - not even its parent company Renault.
But Dacia's sales are booming ... all over the EU.
Other manufacturers are (too) late trying to catch up with this success despite a declining market.

There could very well be a market for an affordable, back-to-basics and highly fuel efficient vehicle.
Even if it looks a bit weird.
Hey, even BMW think their ugly duckling i3 will sell

The aerodynamic improvements Vekke made can also be made to comply with regulations.
The car would likely need to be a bit higher off the ground, though in the EU that requirement is already being relaxed on cars with adaptive suspension.
These would add considerable cost, however.

Interior finishes don't need to add much weight if they aren't overdone.
Removing that, is the poor man's way to simulate the reduced weight than OEMs could very easily take off somewhere less obvious.

Yet if they really want to, they could take off far more weight using plastics - about 200lbs off the shell of a compact car, as the Evonik Golf has shown.

Even the largest car companies in the world use mules to test new techniques and develop new models; mixing parts as they see fit, covering all with existing body shells to keep them away from the public eye.

You think they all would apply to all regulations and safety standards? Ore even be sellable? Think again.
Vekke will not sell cars like this lupo mule, unless to a museum.

A windtunnel can identify specific problems in a design, but there is a fair amount of aerodynamic knowledge that has been put into this car and it shows.
When you are certain the shape is correct no windtunnel can prove otherwise.

Do you have any data on the build? Materials used, the effectiveness of changes, so on? I love your final product, and agree with mcrews (I believe) that your icon thing by your name doesn't do justice to the car.

I changed my profile picture week ago, but the avatar was other setup. Now avatar is switched to record picture.

There is no other test data of effectiveness of mods other than the effects to my lupo fuel consumption history plus the final coast down test. I have written most changes to the car on the fuel log on each tank.

I will try to make video that explains all the mods done to the car and why I have done them and also where the inspiration have come.

Looks way better. Avatar! That's it.

It would be cool if you could show the differences each mod did over the standard before. And I am definitely not questioning your performance, I am questioning how I can utilize some of your techniques! Those front fender wheel arch blocks look great, your side skirts, rear wheel arches (I imagine the same as the front) and the kammback look good and sturdy- I'd like to duplicate for myself.
