I think it has something to do with how women have more emotions then guys do, boiling through there head almost constantly. I know my ex was a very emotional driver and a very emotional spender. Women sort of have to learn from day one to control those things otherwise they can be very expensive or even destructive if the angry driving causes an accident.
Men have emotions too, but women are ruled by them. They cannot reason in any area of life where any amount of emotion is involved because emotion overwhelms what little reason they have.

Needless to say, I can agree with you Johny, no doubt. However, I've recently been hanging out with this girl (that omg I want to date so bad) who is so a-typical female. She is almost borderline OCD about saving fuel, turning off lights, using very little gas and water in the apartment. And best of all, I'M MOVING IN WITH HER THIS FALL!!! I can't wait to see how low our electric bill and gas bill will be between the two of us, hehe.
Some people never learn. Listen, your overall expenses with a woman will never, ever, ever be lower than they are when you live alone. You'll soon learn that two can live as cheaply as three. A lot of the things she pays for now, you will pay for. Right now, she's scrimping out of necessity and once she latches onto you, she'll suddenly become a lot less thrifty. I think you'll find that she's just as different as every other girl.

Invite her over when you want her, and send her home at sunrise. There's no reason to tolerate an angry or spiteful woman under your roof (and yes, she'll become just that given enough time).

Not my woman

My wife is quite the energy saver, we don't have a clothes dryer, or AC in the house or our cars primarily because of her. She is also fanatical about turning off the lights or appliances. She runs the woodstove better than I do too, although I think she's had it red hot a few times.
She is warming up to my hypermiling techniques but hasn't adopted them herself yet. She does like the fuel savings though. She spends about $300-400 a year on clothes too. but still looks pretty good. Not by fashion fanatic standards but good enough for non-metrosexual men.
She has no interest in new cars other than their fuel efficiency and insists on manual transmissions! She is not the most mechanically sympathetic person but we have never repaired a transmission or replaced a clutch yet in 300,000km of manual car ownership. The automatic in the Neon is annoying to her but she didn't argue with a free car either.
Anyways, sensible women are out there, you just have to look for them, if they have livestock(except horses) or like to garden for food, its a good sign.
Ian

LOL, you crack me up, I'll assume you've let comments like this slip accidently in the presence of women, then I would agree you are way better off being single! Thanks for your posts.

Let slip? I say it quite deliberately, but since they lack reason, they try to be good girls to me and prove me wrong rather than to simply walk away. You know how they love a good challenge.

Are you a woman? What were you thinking when you bought those rims for a 4 banger 626? If your car does a 1/4 mile under in 19 seconds I'd be surprised!
Just teasing but goes to show everyone is illogical sometimes.

Holy testosterone fest batman!

Personally, I think you are all just hanging out with the wrong women. I knew my wife was a keeper when she compared the EPA stickers on the cars she was considering and went with the one that had the best economy. Now she wants me to teach her how to drive the manual so she can get a few more mpg in the future. She's obsessive about turning off lights (I mean, literally diagnosed OCD) and we've talked about going solar with some. They're out there.

Sorry, but exceptions don't disprove generalizations. "Not all" snakes are poisonous, however, I don't suggest you start handling one you come across. I also don't suggest you start playing russian roulette just because "not all" the chambers are loaded. We're talking about the run of the mill women we're likely to run into, and the majority of women that we have run into. We know exceptions exist, but generally, most women are this way. Oh, by the way I have a story about my great uncle who smoked 2 packs a day and lived to be 91, if you want to hear it.

my wife called me expecting me to drive 30 miles because her car would not start... after going into a store to get some shopping done. I said no way.. theres nothing wrong with the car.. she said, no it wont start, I said are you sure? she said I'll try again, she said nope wont start... i said is it making any noise at all and do allthe powers things work fine.. she sais yeay the glow plugs light does its normal thing and everything.. I said think and use your head a bit .. she paused for 2 seconds and then said " oh i figured it out... she left it in DRIVE!!

I immediacy hung up on her.. what a waste of time on my part , cell phone minutes, and not to mention the risk to the car rolling into some one else's car in the parking lot.. but than again proves that woman generally don't think like men.. Id be kicking my self for days if I left the car in drive and left it unattended.. wow thats risky as hell.

I think you mis-interpreted what I said. I am not involved with this girl in any way shape or form. She is a a friend whom happens to own a condo that I'm renting from part of from, that's it. But I know what you mean, that's exactly what happened with my ex, so yes, I did learn my lesson. Money is one reason I have chosen not to get into another relationship as of yet.
