When you realize that you only pass another vehicle on the freeway about once a year,
and you can remember every detail for the last 3 years.
3 years ago was the guy w 4 way flashers going because he had a newly purchased young
but tall tree he didn't want to break in the air flow!
Another was going 45mph on a 3 lane freeway in a 70mph zone. I had to wait a while
for mob clearance to safely pass him at a steady 50mph.

Your ratio of passing to being past is 3 to 7000 per year.
Or looking at it another way it's about 3 per my 3/4 mile coast to a stop signs.

So true about the passing! I just drove to Nova Scotia from Ontario last week - I think it was around 1800 km. I passed maybe 4 vehicles.
The week before, I had a significant passing milestone: overtook another car (both of us under power) while holding >100 mpg (US) on the dashboard display of the UFO! He was going just under the limit, I went ever so slightly over (80 km/h - 50 mph).

I pass less cars while driving than while cycling

I've been passed by both a bicycle and a golf cart. They were confused.

On the motorway; I overtake a lot of cars / trucks despite only doing 95 kph.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong ?
But YKYAEM, when you're already coasting by the time you reach the tail bumper of the semi you're overtaking ;-

YKYAEI, when filling up your truck (with a record distance tank, BTW), another big diesel truck like yours pulls up to fill up right accross from you at the pump and the guy leaves it idling while filling up and you feel like asking the guys, "Do you always throw money away, or is that just today?"

Who's confused depends on the speed
I found this film from a Czech police car chasing a cyclist on the highway:
Czeski film - chasing a cyclist
At 0:15-0:25 he passes a van that is going at least 100 km/h!

YKYAEM when your OCD kicks in and you just HAVE to flip the store display toy cars around the ' right ' way ( blunt end to the front, and pointed to the rear ! )
He's winning of course !
