YKYAEM...

...you see a pickup truck in a parking lot with nothing in the bed and the tailgate down. You know the driver must be trying to help his mileage, and you find it hard to resist the urge to go over and close it for him.

YKYAEM...

...when it's really cold outside, while in a parking lot, you pass a vehicle that's been left idling (attended), and you find it hard to resist the urge to shout, "Shut it off! Oh, please, for the love of heaven, shut it off!"

Using our planet's resources for bit of momentary comfort should be against the law.

When you freak out at the one traffic light in 46 that seems to maliciously destroy your momentum almost every day, to say nothing about the clown who almost rear ended you because you STOPPED!

You dream of a midnight mission to permanently destroy your automated torture device, go home and invent a laser to fry that sukah.

Haha! LOL! I know what you mean.

I remember a story about a small town near where I grew up in PA. Back in th '60's or so, somebody decided they needed a red light at the intersection in town. The local farmers got fed up with it and one day a couple of them went out with an ax and took it down. To this day, they've never put up another light. Last I knew the old one was still sitting in my high school teacher's dining room.

It's so stupid here Dave, I watch a friggin light stop 50 cars to let two on the highway. Take the light out, make it right turn only, and let the two drivers make a u turn in the gap created by the light 300 yards down the road.

Geez it ain't rocket science. On US 1 in the Florida keys you have a 2 lane road with few lights and bumper to bumper traffic for many miles. I have seen people wait 15 minutes trying to make a left turn. Just go right and u turn later, or right, left, then right. Either way it only takes 30 seconds.

regards
Mech

YKYAEM when...
... The fastest refresh rate setting on your ScanGauge is still too slow.

... Your Wife complains that your efficient driving doesn't produce enough waste heat to keep the passengers warm.

YKYAEM

when somebody says, "It's really supposed to be warm this week."

And your first thought is, "Sweet! My mileage is going to improve!"
