...you find yourself grumbling at Keebler for over-packaging a double pack of Town House crackers. When did I become so 'green'? I blame Daox.

... you yell profanities at the traffic signal when it doesn't change to your benefit

... the people you used to sniggger at as you flew past them on the uphill because they were going so slow (before you learned about hypermiling) now sniggger at you because ... you ... are ... sooo ... much ... slower ... than ... them ...

... you look up the FE figures and fuel tank capacities of your friend's and family's vehicles to see what fraction of your tank it takes to go as far as they can on a full tank ("Woohoo! It only takes 1/3 of my tank to go the same distance you do on a full tank!")

... you set the dash lighting to it's lowest setting because you think it might improve your FE by 0.0005% (more or less) by reducing the load on the alternator

... you are keenly aware of how much fuel you just wasted by jamming on the brakes ("Dangit! That was 0.00035 gallons wasted!")

No kidding; what's the left lane for? Most people don't seem to know.
I drive in minimal traffic on 4-6 lane highways for 85% of my commute, and everyone wants to speed in the right two lanes, while the left 3 are empty!!
Fast lane/passing lanes are there to be used!

You know you are and ecomodder if...
you get into arguments with the Toyota rep at a car show that your 2002 cavalier is getting better milage than the 2009 yaris and your Silverado pickup is more fuel efficient than a Prius
(Load up a Prius till it weighs as much as the truck then drive across South Dakota at 75mph, silverado will use the fuel more efficiently)

...you travel to cities that don't employ signal timing.

Driving 35 yields nothing but hitting every light red. So then what? Exactly...
