Doesn't that just mean, you've had to fill up more times?
My fuel log covers about the same period of time, but I have 26 fills to your 65. Of course, my 34 gal tank might have something to do with that too.

Dave- Of all the witty retorts that are running through my head right now, I can't bring myself to type any of them. You have been here about a month more than me, and we do have similar miles traveled, but you are getting STUPID mileage out of that truck of yours.
YKYAEMW- You get better mileage than 99% of the cars on the road today, and you drive a truck!!!

Thanks, Jethro, but your results are super-impressive as well.
I can't wait to see your diesel numbers.

You might be an ecomodder if....
You watch that television commercial for the Kia Optima Hybrid doing the 48-State fuel economy world-record and you think "Huh? That's not Wayne!".
Actors really throw you off when you know the REAL people who do those sorts of things!

YKYAEM
if your fuel consumption gives you an indication of the amount of water on the road during a downpour.

YKYAEM when your 3-1/2 year old nephew comes over and asks to ride in your "monster truck" (he likes the fact that it's loud and shakes) and then when you're coasting out the driveway he asks, "Dave, why is the engine not on?"
And you respond, "Because it doesn't need to be."
And he responds, "C'mon, Dave, turn the engine on!"

A downpour of water? What is this black magic you speak of? *in the midst of the worst drought in recorded history*

euromodder ain't from around here, Soichiro.
'Though we have been getting some showers here and there lately. The grass is greening up nicely now. Dang, that means I'll have to get out the mower this summer after all...

Yeah, down here (south of Indy) we've been drier than a bone. 1/3 inch total rain in May, absolutely no measurable rain in June, and just a little over 1/3 inch total rain so far in July. 8 days this year over 100 deg F, 40 days over 90 deg F. Pretty brutal...
YKYAEM when you're in the middle of the hottest, driest summer on record and you hear it's going to rain, and your first thought is, "Aww, man! my mileage is going to take a hit!"
