Not in Belgium, Europe.
Aside from a few very nice spring days, this is the first week we've had some decent summer weather - high 80s F - and it's going to end with a bang & a flash tonight.
The downside is the use of AC.

YKYAEM if you facepalm when someone tells you "You already have an economic car, so why do you mod and hypermile?" And you reply "IMO, 30-35 MPG is a complete disaster."
YKYAEM if you do a 50 MPG commute and say "I could do much better than
that!
YKYAEM if you cannot understand why some people here with super economic cars doesn't get more than 35 MPG. (I have already done 50 MPG with a Hyundai Elantra just by using few eco-driving techniques and zero ecomod, and it is not a very economic car.)
This is why I think Diesel_Dave is by far one of the best hypermiler in this forum, doing 50 MPG in a 3+ tons pickup.
What are you doing to not be able to get 35+ MPG with economic cars? I just don't understand...

Two words: Terrain dictates. I'm getting literally unbelievable mileage from my car, but only because of the roads I drive on and the times and speeds I drive on them. If I get a different job ( oh please, please, please!) then I'll probably lose 10 mpg no matter how hard I hypermile.

Thanks, but you're exagerating a little. I've never done better than a 47 mpg tank. I've gotten 50+ on the in-cab display lots of times, but let's just say there's a reason they call that thing the lie-o-meter.

This is true, but... when school starts up again next week and I'm on dropoff duty I'll lose about 10 mpg. That puts me down into the 70's. That's still WAY above EPA for any car out there.

YKYAEM when you're out driving a pickup and see a guy riding a moped and you start wondering whether he gets better mileage than you.

... as you're installing a new driveway you find yourself thinking, "this slope is going to be kind of difficult to push a car up..."
