An 80s grandma car (with an grandma age person driving) guns her car and flies by you at the top of a pulse (50 MPH).

you hear her car coming and duck, thinking the engine might blow up!

You know your ...If your fridge is wrapped in insulation foam, I wrapped my fridge, still crunching numbers but it is around 1/3 or 30% more efficient now.
I burn much more "energy" cutting the grass when its warm or hot out, cutting it when its cool outside takes about half the effort.

Well then turn off your mower's A/C!

My mowers AC blows grass dust small rocks more then actual cooling lol.
On that note keep the blade thumb cutting sharp.
I say that because i sharpened my blade last month during which time i bang the end of my thumb onto the blade, splitting it open and skinning off some excess skin around the nail. On a good note it grew back like a champ.
What i do to conserve fuel is run the motor on slow/ low throttle and push it a little slower to compensate.

YKYAEM if...
... You are watching a sci-fi movie about the near, apocalyptic future, where someone has to drive as far as possible on what limited fuel they have. Their car's trunk is almost empty, but the spare tire and a few boxes are strapped to the roof rack. And you are thinking They are not doing it right!

I'd like to see fuel economy show up in movies, like when people would actually discuss and show how to save fuel, or say things like "Let's take the small car, it uses half as much gas as the SUV", etc. A part of some more extreme situation (like in the first part of my post) would be showing how someone ecomods a car in the wild (tears off mudflaps and roof rack, maybe even the side mirrors, adds cardboard or metal wheel skirts).

Oh well, gas is still too cheap for this to show up in cinemas, the closest Hollywood comes is showing actors driving around in Priuses (Priusitachi)
