they tend to pass me when I am coasting. of late I only have the engine on for accelerate then I coast, so its on at max about 1/4 the distance I go, (less time).

When you get left in the dust by a school bus after its stop, you don't want to jack rabbit
as it did to pass it, so you are more busy waving by the 6 cars behind you, so you can creep along, and not have to accordian stop, or slow for their next stop!
( With the advent of automatic school buses; the doggy accel of such as traditional as
apple pie: gone into history. Now the drivers STAND on it! LOL! )

When you are happy that your room mate can't drive stick so they won't ask to borrow your car because of their inability to drive more efficient.

YKYAEI...you get passed by a guy with a Prius that has a license plate that reads, "SLOW DWN".

Actually, I was wondering if my raw mpg number might actually be better than his. My last tank was 47 mpg--the '07 Prius has a combined EPA rating of 46 mpg.
