I need an I <3 Metros T-shirt.
Perhaps we could make a batch of Ecomodder shirts with I <3 Metros on the back.

you try to explain the benefits of pulse and glide to your hybrid-driving (but not hypermiling) friend, and they look at you with an empty gaze and say, isnt that just starting and stopping like normal

Then people will think your T-shirt is being sarcastic.

...if an old guy in an Aveo honks at you while you slooooowly accelerate from a stoplight (focused on your scangauge's load readout, of course).
Seriously, it happened today. I just waved at him and continued to keep my load below 25.

You know you are Ecomodder if:
On the freeway, litter blows onto and gets stuck on your radio antennae. Oh No! Aero-drag!!!
Why didn't I take off my antennae yet? (Long distance trip, would have been out of range of public radio without the antennae!)
Why am I on the freeway!?! (No red lights here!)
I swear I actually felt the truck speed up once the litter blew OFF the antennae!

You know you're an ecomodder if ...
It's almost the first of June and you're still using a block heater for a short while before "cold" starts.
And you plan to keep right on using it all summer.
