... you face the following dilemma:
You would really like to know the fuel economy for the last tank of the season in your summer junker MPGiata, BUT that means filling it with winter formulation fuel.
(If I'd known that I was going to keep it on the road this late in the year, maybe I should have stockpiled a bit of the good stuff before the gas stations switched over!)

fake skirt!
When you get excited by the photos of Justin Bieber's custom Rolls...
Because you can't wait to find out how they engineered that articulating front wheel skirt!
... and then you're sad when you find out it's fixed in place.
Quote:
As for the obvious question, “how do the front wheels turn?”, well, West Coast Customs says the front wheels are much thinner than normal, and have been given positive camber.

When the undercarriage is stuffed with snow, and the car can't get heat you stuff every open grill on the front of the car with snow to get those engine temps up!
+30F iats
20mi ending at 140F -> 6 blocks hitting 188F
MPG up along with my dethawed piggies on my feets
Not super comparable but yesterday it was -20 and today it was 10 so much better lolol
This whole dry snow thing is so strange to the southerner in me. This is actually the first time I've driven in actual snow not just ice lol

YKYAEW you see the word BSFC in a video and get excited:
This video and his specific output video are very useful. I use some of the equations in this video to compare some of my stuff.

YKYAEM when you get a call from an Energy Coach to explore and inform me about ways to save energy at home - and the call lasts half an hour longer than planned and it is not clear who learned the most
Part of the deal was a box with a LED lamp, isolation foil, weather seals and a shower-timer hour glass, all free. So I put up with the call.
I now know that we use way less electricity and gas than average, even more so considering the size, type and build year of our house.
We can improve on central heating and by addressing the few single-layer windows left. It wasn't a complete waste of time

I used 307kWh last month. A ****ing record for me. But I moved to fayettefornia so i was billed at 18.4c/kWh instead of Jonesboro's 7.9c/kWh.
Ouch. Set a record for utilities bills last month.
