You wish all cars cam mandated with two features:
1. Manual or hybread drive train.
2. EOC modes where by if the gas is off my more than ___ seconds the engine dies. It restarts when needed.

The Volvo S60 I drive at times is sort of like that...
OF COOOURSE, the only time the motor goes into "sleep" mode is at a traffic light, therefore not being dangerous and not having PS, PBrakes or that jerk doing the "bumpstart".

YKYAEM when you EOC....while reversing.

I'm sure I'm not the first one but did that saturday.We had a little after work "meeting" in the parking lot and had to move back about a 100 yards into the shade to join the group.
