When you are looking for a cheap pickup and decide the F350 dually with the turbo diesel engine with a 5 speed is a better choice than the chevy s10 with v-8 gasoline 3 speed auto that is $100 cheaper because will probably get better mileage when forced to use it.
I will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon or evening.

When on a road trip you count pictures being taken of your car rather then miles. I lost count at 16. Four hours of driving and more pics then rest stops.
When truckers pass you and match speed to look at your car then give you a thumbs up ( reading my 45+ mpg. Epa= 29)

YKYAEI when the old song "Hitching A Ride" by Vanity Fare comes on the radio reminds you to pull in behind a semi for better milage, instead of reminding you of a long-ago high school sock hop.

...if your car rolls slowly backwards at intersections where only cyclists would normally notice the grade.

When a sign states:
Truckers
Steep hill
5% grade next 5 miles
You prep to top the hill at the minimum speed limit to coast down it
I saw my trip tank go up 3 mpg (250 miles on tank)

When you get a string of cars passing you, slowing down, taking pictures, then speeding up an you think boy they are wasting so much gas. Might I save more gas by not having the tail on?

When you judge every car you see by the shape of its rear-end, and how aerodynamically efficient it appears.

...when the "...shape of the cars' rear-end..." interests you more than the "...shape of the driverettes' rear-end..." (wink wink).
