It's the Ecomodder way

It's aluminum and plastic
And a gooey kind of mastic
That didn't set quite right
It's your own divine creation
That goes breezin' past gas stations
It's what Ecomodders drive

I could go on, but I think that's quite enough.

You spend more on tolls than you do on gas.

YKYAEM when...
... Your low fuel light starts blinking and beeping and you keep yelling at it: "Shut up! Stop panicking! We're OK! Remember: I'm driving!

YKYAEM when you wash your car to reduce drag, but refuse to drive below 45 on the dirt roads to keep it clean because it would be too wasteful

... You hear about washing your car to reduce drag, and start to think showering is a viable form of weight reduction...

Just make sure your hair is dry. That's a few grams of water to drag you down.

To the tune of a whose line is it anyway hoedown:

You know you're an ecomodder, when you coast to red
and if some other drivers' shoes are made of lead
You always keep a buffer, and lose some speed uphill
It doesn't take much time and it helps with the gas bill!

YKYAEM when...
... For you "down to 40 mpg" (imp?) worries you and you call it "fuel efficiency loss".

YKYAEM when the screeching sound the accompanies you braking is actually coming from your throat out of frustration for having to push the forbidden pedal
