Well, I have that only when I drive.
No, wait! On more than one occasion people have taken pictures of our car while it was parked in the yard

My car is taken in photo while driving and while parked... I often take my phone and point it to the photographer

One of these people sent his picture to a weekly auto magazine and they published it. They commented that my claims (I wrote my best tank on rear windows) are certainly false. I never bought this magazine ans will never

What camera do you have ?
I'm using a Contour HD (720p) though I'm not really happy with it.
It's only adjustable using a computer, which is a burden as my I often start out in the dark, and return during daylight, or vice versa.
Without a means to adjust it in the meantime, I only use it during daylight hours.

That's hilarious.

Apparently my boat-tailed Firefly experiment made it into an actual boating magazine.

Not Le-French version of Auto-Express by any chance, totally useless as they just make up cars for their "exclusives". Total junk.

I bought 2 cheapies from Hong Kong (via ebay) for 25GBP all in - one to use and one spare. I went via this route so if someone steals them I'm not too bothered.

They record to Micro SD cards so I got an 8GB card to use which was 10GBP on Amazon (when buying some other stuff so no postage). Using this the cameras record about 5-6 hours in 20-40 minute segments with sound.

The quality is OK for a car camera. The only issue I had was the mounting which rattles so sound was not so good when driving. I replaced it with blu-tak and its fine and quiet. It has an internal battery (good for >50 hours) which is recharged from the USB cable.

The manual is comical english so not much use even for a native English speaker. The result is that I can't set the time or date (needs a text file of some kind) but I'm not too bothered about that. I have other cameras for "Family Events".

I plan to record my trips to/from work and then put them into the Helga thread for comment on technique. I'm sure mine could be improved no end with live comments

YKYANEMW...

You make an air dam in twenty minutes, and put it on in the dark of night.

You see trucks with grill blocks, and even a regular car with one, and for a second you're excited, because they might be catching on, but then you realize they just want their trucks to warm up faster, and it bothers you that they might think the same about your car.

People regularly watch the front of your car as you turn... and you LOVE it. I laugh every time I see someone turning their head to stare at my car. Even if my MPGs weren't any better without them, the looks I get would be worth it.

At job training, you start talking about cars, and one guy says he saw a car 'out there and it had teeth on it' and you smile, because it is your car. You tell them and explain the principle behind it and their interested look afterward gets you excited.

Your car is, hands down, the oddest thing in the parking lot.

When people ask about the 'stuff on the front of your car' it is almost a reflex to tell them that it isn't cardboard.

You monitor the SG2 extremely closely during a drive....

...of 15 feet up the drive when your weekend guests leave.

Yeah I know I should push, but my drive is a 1-in-5 and Helga is heavy...

YKYAEMW (and/or just a little deranged perhaps) you are watching a video of a city being destroyed by a tsunami and you are envious of the kei cars floating by.
