Can't wait to see your results! Are you also covering the exhaust pipe that goes down the middl of the car?

Yes, the dual exhaust has melted the coroplast into a perfect shape with it being lower [than this plan]. If this was plastic, it would be very gone(since it is higher and held more firmly towards it).

Only partially completed puncturing the aluminum. The negative to getting thicker aluminum is having to puncture thicker aluminum.

The joints welds (JB Weld on the threading, then the pipes screwed in) has held very well, there is no movement- I then used more on the exterior. Realized I didn't take as many images as I should have. 9 punctures left for the main frame, then the punctures for the rear portion.

After that, I will making the blades down to help direct the air.

First of all, if you want to photograph your build, remember to take your dSLR out of the car before you lift it.

Second of all, be prepared to not take as many photos as you want when working in someone else's space. Especially if you expected one hour, and it was over three and a half.

So the rear frame was a no go. There is just too much going on back/down there for it to have worked. I am glad I did not attach it, and waited to get the best view of the conditions. I personally feel there is a higher power, and He's looking out for me- the build was accidentally perfect fitting. The frame and underbody fit just inside the pinch welds, and almost tucks completely under the car.

As mentioned, I used hose clamps to secure them. I am open to suggestions on how to rust proof these, without disabling the the unscrew feature.

I am aware of rust issues, and there are multiple security features in there. Here are the images.

Cable tie holding in place while I secure the hose clamps.

Underbody normally, and the hanging sheet below.

The sheet's center cross bar is secured to the exhaust, with a larger band on it, also, in the case the main one were to break.

Where the front panel will go- also shows attachment of the front of the panel to some solid piece of car (lol, k member/bar?)

Underbody secured.

Front panel (replace) secured.

Whole thing.

She's waiting to go...

Usually the only part of the clamp that rusts is the screw assembly. Depending on proximity to heat just cover area with grease.

Nice work! Your's will definately perform better than my undertray because you've got one huge continuous panel. It looks like the underside of your mustang is flatter than my STI.

I think there may be a significant difference when I add the blades to the bottom to make a rear diffuser.

Oh, man. "Get 'er in the air and we can start this alignment."

*hmmm-click*

"Where'd I leave the levels?"

*headslap* "They were poking me in the butt when I sat down so they're in the passenger seat."

Nice build! I'm really just chomping to see how she does on the street.

Update

Something's been a secret because my new workout and work has been running me ragged, mixed with trying to keep the Mustang's important projects in line- and I don't want to talk about it before it's done. It's not amazing or groundbreaking, but I'm excited about it. It will one day be ready!

The underbody has failed. The issue is mounting with the hose clamps. They are not strong enough for the suspension to travel. This is the issue with using one piece for the center and rear. It now shakes and rattles violently past 53 mph, so I go 50 to minimize the disruption when cars pass.

This build will not be in vain. I will continue to use the frame, and use some of the sheet metal. I will make the center portion aluminum, and the sides polycarbonate. This will let me reuse all of my materials, and not need anything new.

So, a 4x4 rear portion. This will make a great base for my diffuser. The center 4x6 will be 1x6 AS, 1.5x6 PC, and 1.5x6 PC, in the frame. I will resume my use of cable ties for this, but will be using a LOT of cable ties.

I have made the leap to LEDs for my taillights- but it is still in progress.
So far:

This is still in progress because I need a taillight pigtail. Since I now know the correct part, my search is now for:

I also finally received my data logger. Since the Mustang is not doing much and has 150-250 miles left (quarter tank), I am going to put it in the Insight for a while. A review will be up shortly- from getting my hands on the product, I am really ecstatic about it, and even more the price- but I don't want to jump to conclusions on it.
