I also have 175/70 13 tires and steel wheels on there so you know. There was a vx in a junkyard in Cinci not sure if they still had the trans. It was on craigslist. You can see I'm getting 42 with a shot 02 check engine light on no lean burn.
Dang something is definitely slowing down my mpgs :/

Im hoping i can find one somewhere in indiana.if not hopefully get one shipped for a descent price.makes sence.next time im driving and goin that fast ill double check. but its going to be hard since its been snowing pretty hard lately.

It looks like im only getting around 30mpgs.only other things i can think of is maybe cat is clogged or maf is bad

I would guess plugged cat by the one pic with 02 out heck at 75 in 4th gear it's 3000rpm. Yes 2000-2100 5th get 65 2500 at 75. I would say trans is biggest mpg hog. Then check cat. Use vacuum gauge. Heck see if it run better with the 02 unbolted.

My last cheap attempt at this hesitation issue is going to go thru this tank of gas.
Then try techon? Whatever its called.injector cleaner on high grade shell vpower gas full tank.
Either that or the MAP sensor.hesitation stopped after fuel filter came back after seafoam cleaning.seafoam must have chunked sumthing up.
Wud it hurt to try another seafoam treatment thru vac line and gas tank even tho i just did it?
Maybe its sooo dirty it needs it again idk

Going to try to test the map sensor the best i can since its stripped on there at the moment.take out injectors when i have time.really savn up to find thr right vx trans for the right price and get a clutch as well since im down there

200 isn't bad cash talks. You could try to gut the cat if it is plugged. Try to take the 02 out take a good picture.

the pic that i uploaded was the best pic i could.

i could rent the tool again and double check it.

getting down to the bottom of the seafoam tank of gas hesitation is still pretty bad at low pedal press after the car has warmed up it only seems to start.

i took a look under the hood and noticed the coolant leak a tad bit worse so i went and got the gasket for it. water outlet gasket i guess is what it is and needs replaced i hope.

also i think my main problemo might be at the injectors. the first injecter has some residue around the outside of it.just started after the seafoam treatment. im still debating on going to the nearest shell gas station and getting the highest quality gas and running techron thru the system to see if it would make a difference. but i might just replace the fuel injectors after the transmission and clutch.

AND the leak is back from the area around the distributor. i thought replacing the o-ring would fix that. it looked like the EXACT same one as the original just better quality of course matched the part via napa. i think ill just replace the whole dang distributor since i have a timing light now too after the transmission and clutch as well of course. other than that seems to be running fine other than the 30mpg :/ my crx got better gas milage with the d15b2. i really need to get this thing goin

on an empty tank of gas(still not sure where empty is exactly havnt gotten the fuel light to come on) put in techron fuel injector treatment and filled up a full tank of shell v-power premium gas. still havn the hesitation of course.

checked the pcv valve randomly and there is a little bit of oil residue around the tip of it. also noticed on the first fuel injector that theres black residue on the outside of it.

also i think i might have to cave in and get the 108k vx transmission from the local parts place for $305. my trans right now is so loud from the input shaft bearring.

just put sea foam thru the air line again as well going to see how that all works

You have no low fuel light unless someone put one in It has been done I think they got them in Europe. I just added intermittent wipers but mod ever. 5$ and 10 min and a junkyard. Yea. While running you could spray some carb cleaner around that injector and if it runs different then there is a leak there. The 02 is a 7/8 wrench. I don't remember what Page that pic was on I'll try to look again. You can try a little but of rtv sealant on the o ring might help seal uP the leak. Yeah that isn't a vx trans. You might get 50$ or so on craigslist.
