After two hours, I finally fixed my kill switch...only six more hours of metal shaping, cutting, and drilling, tomorrow morning and I'll be ready for Friday!

Let me guess - kill switch was disabled by a short? I remember something about a fuse issue there, following last year's GGP.
I only wish I could find the time and nerve to do belly pan work under my Insight now. It will just have to wait for warmer weather. I'm a couple years older than you.
Funny thing about the Insights. They're billed has having underbody aero panels. But it's not much of an improvement over what came stock on my Civic and Accord - AND, all the panels forward of the firewall are about as structurally sound as a house of cards. Winter snow and also lazy shop techs are responsible for the loss of many fasteners on these. I had to replace quite a few after I bought mine. That was late February; I think the weather was warmer then than now!

I got a bug & have been out of commission this week. Hoping for a rebound by Friday, because I was looking forward to spectating. Even the weather forecast looks great this year!

Check your emails...looks like our times were pushed back, but we get to see some historic and/or formula 1 cars racing on the track for an hour. Bringing both cameras and all the lenses! Impressively list from the few he mentioned.

Thanks. I'm already on the mend, but as much as I want to go, I'm not quite up for a 6.x hour round trip. Next year.
Have fun everyone!

Round trip? 6 hours one way my friend...Redneck was 8+(?) one way...you can do it[next year]!
I posted my personal story of the GGP this year on my build thread: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post511739
It's a long one, feel free to skip a bit haha...I hope it's not too salty for some people
And congratulations to my fellow victors! We should organize a prep thread for next year, I'd love to have a better sweep of those trophies...
(sorry, google is trying to be apple, and their new format for my files won't allow the 6000x4000 to display)

As mentioned in my post (100+ views, but only 6 people liked it... :'( ), this year cars with MPG readouts were given fuel grades by that rather than measuring actual fuel use- apparently we already have 1 redaction...the M3 is losing its title, as there were some...concerns.
Pulled up the manual, like the Mustang, it can be easily erased without any indication it was erased. If they genuinely got that out of it, I assume they will be back next year and filling up at the pump.
