All I know is the entrance I took had us walking westward past an enormous dirt mound and transformer station. Maybe a hundred yards further southwest, was the Arcimoto booth, not far from the band stage. Not far south from that booth, I was told, was the demo track. Never made it there, but it was on my wish list.

Looking at photo metadata, looks very near the Coburg Rd overpass.

Even if a test-drive would be out of question, you could still take more pictures too.

I never thought to take a camera on the factory tour. I don't know if they would allow pictures, but I saw an industrial rack filled with a few dozen aluminum forms for the vacuum-formed fenders and body panels. I don'r know tool and die making, but I'd guess they are tens of thousands dollars each.

, freebeard probably doesn't, but I use a large sim chip good for many hours video and keep the camera facing outward on my cellphone. Keeps the dishonest supervisor truthful.

A square panel of any size with rounded edges and flanges would be more than 10K even using CNC and a rubber female formplate. 5 years ago buying machine shop time even @$100 an hour got pricey fast.

I've been meaning to get a bodycam, but haven't looked into it much yet. I'd want something discrete so nobody is bothered by it. Mostly I want to capture fantastic conversations I have with older friends, jokes, funny things the kids do, etc. Would occasionally be useful to recount the various situations I find myself in (recently, arresting a guy that broke a window, or chasing a hit, punch, and run suspect).

You are correct, I don't have a cell phone.

As I said, unobtrusive is a priority to me. Secondary considerations would be weather resistance, recording time, and then image and audio quality.

My life often resembles groundhog day nowadays, but that only makes the interesting stuff all that much more valuable to capture.

You don't want a rabbit-ears antenna on your hat?

Not unless everyone else is doing it, at which point, what the heck, why not.

I already hold a rectangular object against my head and talk, which is only not weird because (most) everyone else does it too.

I miss the propellor beanie.

Joe Morgan extends an invitation:

The Eagle poops on the third Wednesday, so after I hit the credit union I'm good to go.

There's a list at the end, that includes a Eugene car show on 2022-08-14.
