I stopped by All-Pro Steel for some pipe and two people asked about my Arcimoto hat. They both knew people there.

Did they make any comments or pass on inside info?

Should have guessed because Freebeard was talking.

We do not have any Bing or... there still are other search engines of which one could conceivably be a fan, right?

Oh, right! Publisher's Clearinghouse has a search function! I do not know what powers it. I always search for:

Knibb High Football Rules!

There is a chance that I am occasionally slightly less mature than I want to believe.

just joined the forum, so i haven't read the 48 pages, but this reminds me a lot of the renault twizy

only two seats so not a viable vehicle for me, but you can pick these up pretty cheap now in the uk, like £5-6k

The difference for me is that I'm not moved at all by the Twizy. I think it's the loft line, or profile. The Twizy body is symmetrical front to back. The Arcimoto respects the aerodynamic Template we're so fond of in the Aerodynamics sub-forum.

A closer comparison is the [gas-powered] Elio. A better comparison is the Edison2, which is still headed toward production. Their plan is a four-wheel four-passenger electric at a $12K price point.

No startup is going to sell a road legal car for $12k. How many times are startups going to sell the same fantasy before people stop believing it?

Arcmoto cant even sell their motorcycle for $12k
