If the data does not fit your opinions, just leave it out.
Opinions survive much better without proof.

Citing 'supra-national socialism' is an attempt to invoke Godwin's law.
If she really wrote that she drops in my esteem.

Colonisation of the Americas at the end of the 15th Century killed so many people, it disturbed Earth's climate.
Which (the impact on the climate) I think is highly dubious.
If anything, both the current population and the amount of fossil carbon we release today completely dwarfs the effect the depopulation of the Americas had.

Looking at the historical world population (scroll down) the demise of indigenous Americans in the 1500s was more than compensated in numbers in other parts of the world. It does not seem a likely cause for the little ice age.

It happened but it wasn't due to colonization. It was a First Contact scenario. The Spanish brought pigs with them and introduced diseases that spread faster than the explorers. When the Puritans landed at Plymouth Rock, they found deserted villages.

The extinction is a fact - I was referring to the effect it had on the climate.
While a lot of cultured land reforested in the Americas, the opposite happened elsewhere as the population grew in other regions. So it could not likely have had a decisive effect on the climate. That's what I meant.

I wasn't commenting on the climatic result, so much as the hazards of a First Contact. The Nordics in Newfoundland didn't provide the same vectors for disease.

Our progressives setting them selves up to lose in 2020.
They have alienated about 80 to 90% of Americans with their environmental lunacy.
No one is on board with banning cars and air travel.

Which part of using 1/3rd the energy at 1/2 the cost to go camping with enough energy on board to not even have to plug in at a camp site are you not getting? We tow a 5th wheel which could really benefit from having it own battery pack for stand alone power and an electric drive to assist our truck in moving the rig up to speed from a stop, climbing hills, and regenerative braking.

Even if they were, eliminating 'farting' cows and replacing everybody's house seals the deal. Individually they're not so much of a problem (floating undersea hyperloops) but all of it all at once will ...what? Gag the golden goose?

Not trying to talk over you aerostealth. Had the subject of pusher trailers come up before?

No clue what you are talking about. I am talking about how to do anything at all with less units of energy and the more carbon neutral that energy is the better. As far a banning air travel or anything else you just never know. If it comes to a choice between accepting limits or looking down the barrel of the extinction of the human race I would vote for some self imposed limits. The freedom to only just die isn't a desirable freedom.
