Maybe Hollywood thought people was dumb and so as dumb would not consider as a danger if just 10 meter of sea level changed. Most people can't see dangers with a couple of degrees more to overal global temperature or the danger with 3 meter rise of ocean.

Mistakes are very natural of sicence researching. Mistakes can lead to huge and important discoveries. So mistakes are not a problem for science, but a quality, since science will get better learning new things, while a given certain of a fixed idea (faith) not fully understood it's the rood to ignorance.

But arrogance it's a huge deffect. What I mean is that medical field it's arrogant, and try to put opinions as facts for things not fully understood yet, and don't like when we mention the mistakes and put doubts about the current rules, comparing it to the old defeated ones.

Many doctors give certain about things they should not, and this lead to frustration of patients when treatments ends in mediocre results. They must stop to see themselves as gods and be more humble.
I no longer trust them.

I love the Air Fair maneuver where the airplane snap rolls clockwise, with the assumption of a right turn. But instead of stopping the roll at the 90 degree mark, the roll continues to the 270 degree mark, & the plane peels off to the left.... kind of like an AGW denier.

I think it was worsened enough, since industrialization and the warming fits in timeline.

If humanity use nukes to stop Ice Age, will it result in a much worse warming later for the time for warming age ?

Ocean rise could be more than 68 meters, but it would require melt antartic ice (repreents 90% of world ice), all of it, and that's quite impossible to global warmring each such point.

So, it could be as high as they show in A.I Artificial Intelligence, but if temperature was changed up to melt everthing, Earth would be a steam room.
