I hear plants like 1500ppm CO 2.

That's called uniformitarianism as oppose to catastrophism. There is a tension between the two. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=catastrophism+vs+uniformitarianism
Once you go down the Catastrophism rabbithole, you find that when the Bosphorus was breached, the rising water advanced at a walking pace. But you know that since the ground isn't flat it was like the ending of Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.
AGWD. heh.

Last interglacial period, the waters rose some 6m higher than now in Belgium
Where I live, was flooded back then
Shark teeth have been found here
As well as a complete mammoth skeleton from the last Ice age
We are again in a warm interglacial period, and likely nearing the maximum of it (least ice)
So , wether you want to believe the gospel of Global Warming or not
It's gonna get hotter
And the sea is going to rise
And no-one, no climate pact, no climate activist nor denier will stop that ...

Populations of low-lying countries, islands & continents (including Antarctica) are already being driven by SLR, away from their home grounds..... which are watery grounds, now.

Good to learn that it is just weather.
This morning brought the news that the emperor penguin is under threat of extinction because its habitat is gradually but increasingly disappearing due to climate change, excuse me, weather.
Do you like koalas? Too bad, they'll be gone in 30 years as the eucalyptus trees increasingly fall victim to wildfires, and so unfortunately do the koala's - over 350 of them in one go last week. The cause of the increase in quantity and severity of the fires? Unprecedented weather conditions. The Australian summer hasn't even begun yet...
News is no better on the other end of the Earth: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/s...ce-disappears/
Oh yeah, plants like CO2. But they only take what they need, no more. Too much is harmful for many plants. Many will eventually die out while others thrive. Life will find a way, but maybe not in a way we like.

Nope - they are looking at the massive harm that NOT responding to our climate crisis, will have on the economy.

Big trees make rain. High-sulphur bunker fuel makes clouds. It's a crazy world.

Nah. SLR was really mellowing out after the ice ages. But along came man-unkind, with its newfangled wild & wide-spread industry, pumping fossil fuel GHG infra-red energy absorbing emissions into the air. Oh, then the Earth bio-sphere started heating up.
Now, with some predictions of cold temperatures coming, the AGW deniers can re-double their efforts to deny AGW, & maybe even make claims of a coming ice age. I bet all the AGW deniers will make sure they complain about the cold outside their doors.

As stated in an earlier post, increasing amounts of atmospheric water vapour is a positive feedback mechanism, generated by increasing man-made infra-red energy absorbing GHGs.
AGW deniers have been hanging on the old saw about water vapour for 2 decades, & probably always will.
